Questions asked by you the fans

My Name:

Paul Daley

Why the Website:

I wanted to give boxing enthusiasts a fans perspective of boxing and provide up to date news, history and general boxing info. I am a big boxing fan and love everything to do with this great sport. So yeah, I just wanted to give the fans a different take on the boxing scene. I have been designing and messing about with the webs framework for about 1 1/2 years now and I think if it wasn't for my girlfriend (Michelle) and My Family pushing me to put it online then I would still be at stage one.

My Most Prized Possession:

Recently for Christmas I was given a gift by my gorgeous and generous girlfriend (Michelle) a signed Boxing Glove by the Man himself Superman ROY JONES JR.

Boxing Heroes Retired or Passed:

Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali (Previously Cassius Clay), Joe Louis, Henry Armstrong, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, Gerald McClellan, Jimmy Wilde, Carlos Monzon, Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Salvador Sanchez, Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard and I could go on and on

Boxing Heroes Today:

Roy Jones Jr, Bernard Hopkins, Shane Mosely, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Marco Antonio Barrera, Isreal Vasquez, Rafael Marquez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Vic Darchinyan

All Time Hero:

Roy Jones Jr - He is the greatest fighter I have ever seen in the ring at his best. There is no fighter in the world at his peak that could match Roy`s Speed, Movement and Skill. Roy is a phenomenon and will no doubt go into the Hall of Fame when his career comes to its end.

Best Moment in Boxing:

This would have to be of course the legendary Roy Jones Jr`s destruction of James Tony. Both fighters had an unbeaten record but Jones was the underdog. Jones controlled the fight and took an easy unanimous decision. I remember scoring the contest at the time and in fact I didn't score a round for Toney. That's how easy Jones can make a fight look.

Worst Moment In Boxing:

Roy Jones Jr getting knocked out against Glen Johnson

Earliest Boxing Memories:

15th April 1985 Marvelous Marvin Hagler vs Thomas Hearns - This is known as one of the best fights in Boxing`s History. The fight only lasted 3 rounds and was a see saw of a contest that saw Marvin Hagler emerged as the victor after he Knocked out the Detroit Cobra.

27th June 1988 Mike Tyson v Michael Spinks - This is the fight where Mike Tyson takes apart Michael Spinks in one round. The man was a monster.

Best Fighter in the World Currently:

Floyd Mayweather Jr is head and shoulders above the rest followed by Winky Wright and Manny Pacquiao
