Andre Berto: Preparations are going really well. Topclassboxing.co.uk: We know that you have now signed to fight Cosme Rivera is this a step up and what do you expect from him??? Andre Berto: I expect the best cosme he has to offer. he's a tough veteran fighter that brings it to you the whole fight Topclassboxing.co.uk: Rivera recently lost a close split decision against Joel Julio which could have gone either way, do you see any weaknesses in him and without giving too much away what are your plans come fight night??? Andre Berto: I believe his weakness is that he's a little slow and i think that's going to be my advantage during the fight Topclassboxing.co.uk: You are generating a lot of excitement in the Uk at the moment with your fights being shown on Sky Sports and readers of the site wanting to hear more and more do you feel any pressure or is it something you take in your stride??? Andre Berto: I LOVE my fans from the U.K. they are great and they've been showing alot of support. i definitely take the pressure in my stride it's no pressure for me at all, I am doing something that i love to do and that's perform. when i train I am looking forward to giving the fans what they come to see nothing less. Topclassboxing.co.uk: In your last fight you again showed your dominant power when you stopped Martinus Clay in the seventh round did you take anything from that fight which will help you in future fights??? Andre Berto: Yeah i do learn something every fight. i've learned that the competion is going to be getting alot tougher and that I wont be able to knock these guys out in the first few round I'll have to break them down and work on different things Topclassboxing.co.uk: As I say you have stopped a run of twelve fighters you have faced, is this your biggest weapon your power or is it a mixture of both power and speed???? Andre Berto: I've been blessed with them both so i believe it's a mix of both Speed and Power Topclassboxing.co.uk: There are many fans that have emailed me recently asking if there was a chance you could face another up and coming fighter Joel Julio is there a possibility in a fight down the road??? Andre Berto: It's very likely i will be seeing him in the ring very soon Topclassboxing.co.uk: You are currently rated at number 11 on the IBF rankings and in my opinion following you since the start you could beat any of the fighters above you . Kermit Cintron is the IBF title holder at the moment is any plans to fight him in the near future or is it a case of too early to call??? Andre Berto: At this point his name has been brought up alot and I am looking forward on facing him either at the end of the year or the top of 2008 Topclassboxing.co.uk: During your time in the professional ranks you have trained in the same gyms as Winky Wright and Jeff Lacy how would you assess their careers??? I know Winky is a main draw at the moment but since losing to Joe Calzaghe Lacy’s career as taking abit of a dive Andre Berto: I believe both of the guys have had tremendous careers Winky had to take a little bit of a tougher road but now he's there where he wants to be Topclassboxing.co.uk: Andre I know the fans in the Uk are going crazy for you and they are running trips to the states as we speak but is there anything you would like to say to them and the readers of TopClassBoxing???
