Training is going great man just here losing my weight cause like Ricky I walk around heavy lol

In your last fight you faced Luis Rodriguez who's record at the time was  22-0-0. In that fight you seemed to easily dominate a tough opponent could you take us through that fight???

Francisco Figueroa:

Man let me tell you I didn't have any information on this fighter. On the day of the weigh-in it was like a solar eclipse had just entered the room man this dude was tall as hell lololol. So I immediately knew the body was mine for the taken. So now its fight night and he comes out trying to box so I knew I had to put that Team Gato pressure and put his pipes as the saying go pressure busts pipes. That when domination came into play and I won by ud. Dude wouldn't go down I through more then a 1000 punches wow.

Recently there as been talk about a potential match up with Dimitri Salita. Is this a fight that interest's you???

Francisco Figueroa:

You know what about Salita I don't want him no more. It seems to me if I beat him nothing will happen to my career. If I'm to fight a name fighter its got to be for the #1 spot or title shot. Its more about business.

The Light welterweight division is open at the moment, with yourself clearly in the mix what would be your dream fight at the moment and what do you think the outcome would be???

Francisco Figueroa:

Like my favorite rapper Big Daddy Kane from the ol' skool use to say "I'm R.A.W". Ready, Able, Willing to fight anyone that will push me or win the world title but I do know this a fight with paulie would be fun lolol. Of course I'll win

Which fight so far has been the most satisfying for you throughout your career so far???

Francisco Figueroa:

I really haven't had a satisfying fight just a lot of tough one lolol

Which fight so far throughout your career as been the most difficult???

Francisco Figueroa:

One of the most difficult fights I had was a guy called Francisco Rincon he was hitting me with a baseball bat and the referee wasn't giving him a warning lolol man this dude was a strong and tall 6'0 fighter.

You have gone on a eleven fight unbeaten streak and have looked really rejuvenated in doing so, are there any changes you have made to your training or has your focus changed for the better???

Francisco Figueroa:

Well my last fight I was called in to Spar Sugar Shane Mosley for Zab, but it got postponed. So I was in Big Bear for two month training myself but getting hell of great sparring. I'm a good to great chess player and that's what you have to be in this sport and I love playing chess with my ability. Buddy was in my corner giving me strategic plans and as a soldier I went out on a mission and executed the plan and it was a successful mission.

What has Buddy brought to the table champ??, what things has he changed or tweaked???

Buddy has gotten me to work my weak point like throwing punching going. To my right rather then moving & not throw punches. among other stuff but if I tell ya I have to become a ninja and kill you lolol.

Everybody in the Uk are Amir Khan Crazy at the moment, I have seen alot of holes in this fighter lately but Have you had a chance to catch any of his fights and if so what do you think of him???

Yea man Amir Khan no I just know from what I see on the internet and some stuff on youtube but nah I don't really see much.

My dream fight wouldn't be with a present fighters it'll be with the prime Arturro Gatti. A fight ppl would like to see (aaaaaction pack) especially UK fans

If Paulie boxes Hatton its over.

Well ppl in ny are telling me fight Paulie win or lose to Hatton. I agree I'll be paulie like I said my pressure will bust his pipes. For Ricky he ain't going to bully me I have a good strong leg base I'll be pushing him around and I win that fight. I might have not fought a name fighters but it doesn't take a name fighter to beat another name fighter. If you got skills and heart & smarts then you qualify.
